1. Uma composição é qualquer reunião de elementos isolados que, quando unidos, resultam em um todo destacado das partes.
2.Coordenação, constituição.
3. Produção literária ou artística.

Podemos achar inúmeras definições para a composição, mas ela sempre será a manifestação artística primordial da alma, seja uma letra, uma melodia, uma harmonia simples ou intrincada ou um ritmo que não sai da nossa cabeça. Grandes músicas nascem de um trabalho minucioso onde a razão e a emoção se entrelaçam formando a trama que leva o ouvinte a se identificar com sensações, situações, sentimentos e lembranças exteriorizadas pelo compositor.

Produção

Uma vez criada a música, ela se encontra “desnuda” a procura de suas “vestes”. A que estilo recorrer? Qual imagem auditiva adotar?

Para atingir o objetivo em uma produção é importante ter um plano de ação. Ao elaborar esse plano realizamos pesquisas, análises e experimentações que irão revelar a melhor forma de executar as diversas fases de uma produção. Esta fase é chamada de pré-produção. Nela, escolhemos o estúdio, os profissionais envolvidos, bem como a logística das atividades, visando a otimização do processo.

Após trabalhar elementos como letra, instrumentação e arranjo, é feita a captação das guias e o sequenciamento criando uma demo que será referência para as gravações.
Com a demo em mãos, o trabalho de produção se torna ágil e claro, tanto para o artista quanto para o produtor, otimizando o tempo e tornando as gravações finais um processo prazeroso e natural.

Editora

Sua função principal é tornar pública a obra de um artista.

Qualquer criação artística é fruto de inspiração e transpiração de seus autores. Toda obra tem seu devido valor, tanto artístico, como de mercado, e merece ser tratada com seriedade e profissionalismo.
As constantes mudanças no meio artístico ocasionadas pela internet facilitaram o acesso do público ao artista, seja através de webcast, podcast, bancos de imagens, gratuitos ou em lojas on-line. Gravação, Mixagem e Masterização

Gravar é a arte de conciliar conhecimentos técnicos a conceitos artísticos para registrar um momento musical. A acústica, o posicionamento do músico dentro do ambiente e a escolha dos microfones, entre outros, são algumas das escolhas que influenciam diretamente no resultado da gravação.

O próximo passo é a mixagem, ou seja, procurar fazer com que tudo o que foi gravado se misture da melhor maneira. é através do posicionamento em tempo e espaço dos elementos gravados que criamos a atmosfera desejada; intimista ou agressiva, com a ambiência de um pub ou de um grande teatro. Este é o momento onde podemos trabalhar a maneira como o ouvinte será conduzido através da música.

Por fim, chegamos à masterização, onde equilibramos as características sonoras da música para adequá-la a qualquer ambiente e equipamento de reprodução. Geramos a documentação necessária para o registro do fonograma, inserindo o código ISRC (International Standard Recording Code), ou seja, o RG da obra.

Áudio, Acústica e Elétrica

Quando pensamos em Engenharia de Som, podemos considerar 3 áreas que trabalham em conjunto:

• Acústica (ondas estacionárias, tempo de reverberação, difusão, isolamento acústico...);
• Áudio (caixas de som, posicionamento de auto-falantes, cabos...);
• Elétrica (alimentação, aterramento, fiação,...).

Composition

Dictionary entry:
1. A composition is any gathering of isolated elements which, when put together, result in a whole, separate from the parts.

We might find an array of definitions for composition, but it is always going to be the soul’s major artistic manifestation or display, be it lyrics, music, a simple or complex harmony or a beat that sticks to your mind. Great music is born through careful work where reason and emotion interconnect forming a plot that can lead the listener to identifying with feelings, situations, emotions and remembrance put out by the composer or songwriter.

 

Production

Once music is created, it finds itself “bare” seeking its “garb” or “ensemble”. Which style should be resorted to? Which aural image should be adopted?

In order to reach an objective in a production it is important to have an action plan. As you come up with this plan, research, analysis and experimentation must be carried out since they will set forth the best course of action to implement the various production stages. This first stage is called pre-production. At this point we choose the studio, the professionals as well as the logistics aiming at process optimization.
After having worked on lyrics, instrumentation and orchestration, the recording of the leading track and sequencing are done, creating a demo that will serve as reference for the recordings.

With this demo at hand, production work becomes quick-moving and definite, not only for the singer but also for the producer, optimizing time and turning the final recordings into a natural and pleasant process.

 

Publisher

Its chief function is to make an artist’s work public or widely known.

Any artistic work starts with inspiration and hard work. Every piece of work has its own artistic and market value and deserves to be handled in a serious and professional way. The constant innovations in the artistic environment, brought about by the internet, have made it easier for the public to interact with and have access to the artist, either through a webcast, podcast or image banks, all of which either free of charge or at on-line stores.Anyone artist has become vulnerable to the system and the publisher has become the ideal partner in order to give support to his/her work.

The publisher offers copyright protection through official registration at government or private entities, as well as competent and dynamic promotion, divulgation, representation and negotiation aiming at different ways of reproducing the works.

 

Recording, Mixing and Mastering

Recording is the art of conciliating technical knowledge and artistic concepts in order to register a musical moment. Acoustics, the positioning of the musician within the environment and the choice of microphones, among others, are some of the choices which directly influence how the recording turns out.

The next step is mixing, when you have to try to blend all that has been recorded in the best way possible. It’s through the positioning of the recorded elements in time and space that we create the desired mood: intimate or aggressive, with the vibes of a pub or vibrations of a big concert hall. This is when we can work the way the listener will be led through the music.

Finally, we have come to mastering, where we balance the sound features of the piece of work to make it suit any environment and reproduction equipment. We generate the necessary documentation to register the phonogram, inserting the ISRC (International Standard Recording Code): in other words, the ID card of the musical work.

 

Audio, Acoustics and Eletric System

In Sound Engineering there are 3 areas to be considered which work together:

• Acoustics (stationary waves, time of reverberation, diffusion, sound proofing…);
• Audio (speakers, positioning of speakers, cables...);
• Electric system (power, grounding, wiring, …)

Being it a studio, home theater, rehearsal room, concert hall or the sound system design of a store, restaurant, bar, office or home, these areas must be in line, so that the best sound quality can be achieved for each case, independent of their limitations and/or early characteristics.

Artistic Management
